The most alliterative song Joni ever wrote must be 'Borderline' - great lyrics, but she goes a bit far with "You snipe so steady/You snub so snide/ So ripe and ready/To diminish and deride" in my opinion.
As regards 'Tax Free', it wasn't about the danger of Pat Robertson being elected, rather about the tax breaks that many preachers received from the U.S government in return for persuading their congregation that the U.S should invade Cuba. Peace (ha ha) O
