This is a gross distortion, Ric - we may not know the EXACT details of what 
Polanski did and why, but to dismiss the whole thing as "tabloid tidbits" is 
to downplay the whole thing too much.  There is no question that he had sex 
with a thirteen year old girl, who was under the influence of something.  And 
he wasn't a horny teenager, a couple of years older - he was a man in his 
mid-40s.  Isn't that a pretty serious crime?  And what are you trying to say 
by mentioning her supposed "lack of innocence" - Does that mean she must have 
been gagging for it?  Or is that another tabloid tidbit we should take with a 
pinch of salt?
