This very same thought has gone through my mind many
times, long before 9/11, long before Bush, long before
Iraq. Every empire has to fall. It may be another law
of physics. What's happening right now in Iraq, I'm
afraid, may be just the beginning of the end. I don't
like to feel so doomy about it, but I just have this
horrible and overwhelming feeling that that's exactly
what's going on right now. When I think of George
Bush, I think of the psycho president in Stephen
King's "Dead Zone" - I just can't get that image out
of my mind.
