Two words: google rating As far as search engines go, reportedly most people don't look past the first 3 entries if they find something suitable, and the vast majority of people never look past the first page of results. Of course, there's not much, in terms of policy, that jQ can do to stop people from naming their plugins "AAA MyPlugin". As you said, moderation will probably have to play a role (should it become a problem, and as Seth Gecko says in Dusk 'til Dawn, "it's not a problem until you make it a problem"). :)
