I tried to install Apache JServ on WinNT as well. Here is what
I found out:
- ApacheModuleJServ.dll, which handles the communication between
Apache and the Servlet Engine, is missing in the distribution.
- source code is include and it is possible to compile it but
you have to
- compile Apache as well
- turn of LOAD_BALANCING in jserv.h
- I compiled it but it did not run with the current release of
Apache (1.3.6)
- I checked out the source from the CVS repository, fixed some portability
issued and disabled LOAD_BALANCING. I compiled it and got a version
which can be used with Apache 1.3.6. It is up and running. I did not
run my own examples yet and I can't say yet whether it is stable
or not.
