I fully agree with you Dan that small gatherings are useful and
productive. Unfortunately, by definition only a small number of
people get to enjoy the gathering! :-)
What happens naturally after a BOF like this is that the "hard-cores"
tend to gather, spend some time matching faces with email addresses,
and almost inevitably head out for drinks where they discussion
continues. Usually before the night's over someone's been hired. :-)
