Listen..I started this thread out of being pissed off for seing some 5 or so
emails come back to me each time I sent a message to the list. I realize I
was a bit rude and for that there is no excuse. However, the list is for JSP
questions. I do not mind stupid, easy, beginner questions. I even answer the
ones that sometimes involve writing a bit of code for someone. Hell, I even
ask stpuid or easy questions sometimes. What I can't stand to see, which is
why I wrote the email in the first place, is GOOD JSP/Java developers quit
the list becuase of all the stupid emails such as out of office replies,
"mailbox is full", or just plain stupid advertisements about how to make
$1mil. Those emails have caused several good developers to stop contirbuting
to the list, thus hurting the rest of us.
I surely hope I didn't make anyone think I was so good and beginners suck.
That was not my intention (I do know the reply was to Scott, but just in
case it was meant for me too..). I did jokingly send another email in reply
to someone else, and "pretended" I was a beginner asking stupid questions.
It was a joke (assuming anyone knows what email I am talking about ;).
