I wrote them, so I can speak to that.  They are "not known not to work,"
but were never vetted to our project's high standards, so not formally
documented.

A larger issue we wrangled with but didn't solve was how to save and
restore a Judy array to mass storage.  Since they are pointer-rich,
you'd have to do a lot of pointer fixups of some kind on restore, with
no guarantees malloc() would give consistent results, etc.  Storing data
was so fast in the first place it wasn't a high priority to add
save/restore.

The Judy*Array() functions were a personal project to see how much
faster you could do bulk insertion, still translating from a more
"portable" data format, and it really was a lot faster.
