i actually think wms auth is important and should be fixed right away. we could 
wait for one or two weeks if more urgent bugs occur but release the fixed 
version then.

versioning:

we talked about a new version scheme and maybe now it is the time to do so. How 
about three number only
<major>.<minor>.<patch>
major is changed when really big changes occur, e.g. backward compatibility 
breaks, oj runs on android or such
minor are regular functionality changes
patch is bugfixes

that should be sufficient for our use case.

windows setup:

as fancy as it is. is it worth the extra effort, necessary for every release 
(can we automate that?)? what are the benefits? windows users can as well use 
the multiplatform distro.
