I tested it with Openjump 1.2B Nightly Build
(2007070627-014) and only with SVG symbols.
and it seems to work fine even without extra batick
libraries.
The only problem I found is connected to labels.
By the time I enable labels in the "Change style"
dialog windows (and I resize the right dimension of
symbols), both symbols and label extend one over the
other.
I image thi is connected to the "Change style dialog"
(not to your plugin), but it would be nice if labels
stay outside the defined diameter of the symbols to
avoid overlapping.
Another thing I want to ask you if it is possible to
add on your plugin the possibility to change type of
symbols according to an attribute value.

An observation
a)Vertex plugin can rotate raster images. A
georeferencing tool rotates, rescales and deformes
rasters, how far are we from a georeferencing plugin
for OJ?
