Hei

You write you have a code for a plugin, why don't you
add this to current openjump version? I think that
such function would be very useful, even as a point
xyz.
i currently have the time (but maybe in 3 weeks)
The code i have works only for xyz and not for attributes yet.
it takes some time to prepare the gui components to ask what will be what.

(@ others: essentially i think, one needs to combine the code from the openjump wiki send before - not this code uses the jmath librrary and from the csv - plugin which joins table data, already in OJ nightly built)

stefan

Thanks for the answer.

mhm..

i don't know if the Pirol webpage does provide
something similar.
I have some code for such a plugin, but it only
reads point (xyz) and no further attributes. (
http://openjump.org/wiki/show/How+to+display+customer+xyz+data+from+a+file
)
Do you need attributes?
Probably it would be easy if one assumes that the
ascii data look like that: x y z double double double ...
everything else is a bit more diffiicult

Hi,
does anybody know a direct way to convert a csv or
a
tx file to a point sapefile? Maybe a JUMP plugin?
Thanks

Giuseppe
