But, it does have the features, which come at a decent price. Depending on how things pan out with Broadcom in the few short years to come, I think this will be a particularly good area for Arista to pick all their competitors off, should they come right with their IP/MPLS software implementations. I feel the established/traditional equipment vendors are too busy producing half-baked Broadcom-based solutions just to have a "cheap" option to deal with customers considering Arista or white boxes; and focusing more on pushing their heavily-bloated "data centre" switches at massive $$ premiums. Slowly but surely, Arista (or anyone else copying their model) will rise to fill the gap.
