The academic versions of Studio 2004 stipulate that you may load it on two computers, as long as they're not used at the same time. I'm going from memory on that, so a close reading of the license may be in order.

And using MS software will probably require activation, depending on the type of license purchased. Purchases at a corporate/volume level generally don't require activation. Again, a close reading of the license may be a Good Thing.
