On my chattyfig list we talk about this stuff AAAAALL the time.

1. I'd aim for the marketing director, not the President of MM.

2. The other option of just laying there and taking it,
isn't an option in my book. Of course MM is aware
of the issue. I know that *I* have made them aware
of it. Anyone who has had marketing 101 can figure
out the is a poor marketing policy.

3. MM says it listens to its customers. Well then
to change something MM customers need to speak
loud and strong. In effect saying, " oh well, they have
great products (no argument from me) so let them
scr*w me." isn't a fighting message that says, we
want you to change your policy. Rather it says,
"you can get away with it without much protest from
me".

4. My hunch is that MM customers are SO loyal that
MM thinks it has all the time in the world to address
this issue. OR, they just aren't getting how serious of
a mistake this is. Again, I believe MM's customers need
to speak out with one voice that it IS a serious issue.
