I am not sure whether this is the intended behavior or a bug. I will defer on that to the KDE Developers. STEPS TO REPRODUCE. 1. Open Dolphin in a directory. Use the keyboard shortcut key F3 or the Menu option View > Split. I have navigated to the $HOME/Downloads directory for the RHS pane. For More details please refer to the attached file with the name, "KDE-BugID-519920_InitialSplitScreenOpen.jpg" 2. Change the size of the navigation bar alone. Not the pane. Please refer to the attached file with the name, "KDE-BugID-519920_ResizeTheNavigationBar.jpg" for more details. 3. Navigate the right hand side pane to another directory. I have shifted the navigation to the directory, "Music". It is observed that the navigation bar resizes to the pane size.
