Thanks for the pointers Michael, I've got my new profile setup now, Some stuff I've copied over, others I've just modified the new defaults. My only disappointment was that it didn't fix a problem I found in 3.4 and assumed was caused by old config files. Whenever I add icons to toolbars in kde apps (in Config Toolbars), they dissappear from the left side (Available Actions), but don't appear on the right side. If I apply the changes, the icons appear on the toolbar, but not in the Configure dialogue. To make them show on the right side, I either have to close the dialogue & open it again, or choose a different toolbar and then choose the one I've modified again. I can't find a report of this on the KDE bug database, has anyone else experienced this? I've never had it happen in 3.3.x and it seems to happen in every app I've tried it in so far.
