Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
It looks like you've only recently installed 18.04.3, and are still running 18.04.3 thus haven't used ubuntu-release-upgrader to move to a later supported release; thus I'm marking this invalid (I've linked your issue to 'linux' for now or kernel related). Because of the wrongly tagged package; you'll likely need to run `apport-collect 1848980` I suspect to gain detailed information, as the information filed was not kernel related, but details about your 18.04.3 to (??) due to package selected. You can run `apport-collect 1848980` now (please do it only once), or I 'bot' will likely ask for it anyway. ** Changed in: ubuntu-release-upgrader (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1848980 Title: system hangs on suspend Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Status in ubuntu-release-upgrader package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: hardware description: ZenBook UX433FN_UX433FN model name : Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8265U CPU @ 1.60GHz Description: Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS kernel: 5.0.0-31-generic *-display description: VGA compatible controller product: Intel Corporation vendor: Intel Corporation physical id: 2 bus info: pci@0000:00:02.0 version: 02 width: 64 bits clock: 33MHz capabilities: pciexpress msi pm vga_controller bus_master cap_list rom configuration: driver=i915 latency=0 resources: irq:145 memory:b2000000-b2ffffff memory:90000000-9fffffff ioport:5000(size=64) memory:c0000-dffff *-display description: 3D controller product: GP108M [GeForce MX150] vendor: NVIDIA Corporation physical id: 0 bus info: pci@0000:02:00.0 version: a1 width: 64 bits clock: 33MHz capabilities: pm msi pciexpress bus_master cap_list rom configuration: driver=nvidia latency=0 resources: irq:147 memory:b3000000-b3ffffff memory:a0000000-afffffff memory:b0000000-b1ffffff ioport:4000(size=128) memory:b4000000-b407ffff While manually or by closing the lid the system apparently completes the suspend process. cat /sys/power/mem_sleep [s2idle] deep and the power button start flashing. when I tried to wake it up it never starts over again. It just shows a prompt at the upper left, after about 3 minutes shows the graphical interface asking for login password and after login in nothing works. I have to manually reset by pushing the power button.
