I don't know what your specific problem is, but to avoid any 
misunderstandings:

gcc 4.1.0 is a known bad compiler.

gcc 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 are perfectly good compilers (and do not generate 
any such warning message), and most likely the most frequently used ones 
today.
