So I just started a new job selling upgrades for time warner and some of their training seemed..... less than technically informed, let's say. So I have a question for all you road runner guys out there. Does linux still work on their setup? Is it like the bad old days with the logins and all that or is it like cox where the cable modem will talk to any computer?
Also, if anyone has digital phone and a Tivo, I'd be interested to know if you have any problems with the Tivo getting updates. They tell us that Tivo will not work with digital phone, but I can't for the life of me figure out why that would be. In the past, this group has had way more of a clue than any tech support I could call, so I figured I'd come ask here.
