from what I've heard, it comes mostly from disgruntled employees turning
them in as having illegal copies of software. It only takes one proven illegal
copy to be guilty but I don't know if just the word of rewarded caller is enough
for a court order.. Then again, an unknown, untraced, and unsubstantiated
call in Texas allowed for one heck of an intrusion of privacy.
