N186RC is scheduled for its condition inspection May 9.
Might move it up.
The cowling I purchased from Sid is finished except for minor
tweeking. It is in primer and could be flown. I elected to construct my
cooling boxes and finished installing them on Saturday.
Needless to say the cowling is not as pretty as Sids new one but it
is not bad considering the modifying it went through .
I am scheduled for some refresher tailwheel time as well.
Many thanks to Sid in getting his old cowling to me!
ps. Does anyone know Robert Clark (the original builder of N186RC)?
