Tough question with out a picture. One thing that I know for sure is that
the bathroom scales become less and less accurate above 200#. If you did
not put a spreader board on the top of the scale it pinches the spring
inside and gives very wrong answers (although consistent).  I also just
finished painting and have about 3gal of primer, color, and clear coat.
They are at least 12# per gal.
I do a weight and balance next week and I'm betting on 750#
