Those are AN3 bolts. I have a similar setup. It has a nutplate on the back
inside the cockpit, and there are washers under the heads of the bolts.

Subject: KR> Engine Mount @ Firewall

Netters:

The UPS man visited me again today and left my new "Great Plains" 5 Pt.
engine mount today which has finally brought an unknown to a head.

The mount is made to be secured to the Firewall with 1/2" AN bolts but
the plans show a "Rand Mount" that uses smaller (4) bolts on each of of
(4) small pads. The bolst pas thru the SS, fiber Fax, 1/4" Firewall and
the 5/8" thk boards. My question is the Washers, spacers and etc. to
be used as O find callouts on the dwg or pictures either. Searc of
KRnet turned nothing either

Can anyone advise?
