I bought a Garmin unit through Anywhere Map for use with their software. It has a battery life of about 12 hours. END........................................................ I didn't realize it had such a short battery life. With 3 AAA batteries I get about 30 to 40 hours of use. I could typically fly to the Gathering and back to California and never change the batteries. Maybe I should keep what I have.
