The 32 page manual does not give me a clear answer to my question and assumptions have led to errors in the past.
The manual says I can program up to 4 channels for CHT and EGT, should be "or" not "and". My question: Is there only one screen that gives me that option or can I switch screens and program another 4 channels? If only a single screen then my use of relays to provide other channel inputs can not be done. If two screens are an option then the relays would isolate the sensors used on screen 1 and connect the sensors for screen 2. I'm going to "assume" the answer is only one screen but my last assumption was wrong.
Another assumption: I'm assuming that all the negative lines on the sensors are "ground" so they could all be connected to the "common" contact on the relay and all the + leades on the CHT senders could be connected to the NC contacts and all the EGT + leads could be connected to the NO contacts. If a second screen is available the screens could be switched, a SP/ST switch activated to energize the relays and all new inputs provided through the same leads to the instrument. Like many brain storms in the past I'm guessing this one too will blow itself out.
