This morning I was at a meeting at a local herb farm.  They told us that
they had 75 varieties of lavendar growing there and 27 kinds of rosemary.
I always thought lavendar was lavendar.  I guess I have alot to learn.

They also said that the lavendar would survive most of our winters unless
we had a very long, very cold spell.
