This morning I was at a meeting at a local herb farm. They told us that they had 75 varieties of lavendar growing there and 27 kinds of rosemary. I always thought lavendar was lavendar. I guess I have alot to learn. They also said that the lavendar would survive most of our winters unless we had a very long, very cold spell.
