At 16 I had red pointed-toed stiletoes with 4 inch heels. The in my thirties I had red leather Dr Scholes clogs. In my 40s I spotted a pair of red strappy sandals with and ankle straps and 3 inch stilleto heels, which I could never wear (down to flat heels by then), and which were described by a male colleague as "tart's shoes". They were lovely.
