Mercifully for us, the journey to Iowa takes about 40 minutes of deriving on
busy expressway (up to 5 or 6 lanes in one direction) and then it calms down
and the express way turns into 2 lanes, with cars travelling at speeds of
about 65 - 70 miles and pretty well spread out, until we reach Iowa when
there is more traffic.
I wouldn't want to do 4 hours on UK motorways :(
