Umkehrschlag can be translated as turning stitch but it is C T T C pin.
Zänkelchen - from context I surmise this might mean picots
yes, it is a typical expression from the Erzgebirge. You know in German
we have different dialects and sometimes different words with the same
meaning.
Längsklöppel - this refers to one or more pairs (or is it bobbins?).
never heard Klöppel = bobbin and längs could mean the direction and so
in a way meaning the Laufpaar = the runner
What would it mean for the pairs at the end of a tally to be
"zurückgeflochten"? Babelfish translates this as "back-twisted".
does it mean to end the pairs? I would say laying the pairs back and
end with a few CT-movings.
