And a great convention it was, too, Alice! You and the rest of the committee should be very proud of yourselves. I haven't been to a huge number of IOLI conventions (6, I think), but it was probably the best one I've attended. Things ran so smoothly, the rooms (living and class and event) were great, the event food was excellent. I had a ball, and of course spent 'way too much! Had to pay for overweight baggage (books are my biggest weakness) and also had a terrible time fitting everything in. I learned a lot in my classes and had loads of fun doing so. And of course, it's lots of fun getting together with once-a-year friends! So thanks again, Portland Lace Society, for a fine convention. Robin P.
