Did anyone else in  the U. K. see 'Bargain Hunt'  yesterday afternoon  
on "Yesterday".    A mahogany box  was chosen by one team which 
contained 5-6 pairs of E.Midland bobbins. They were described, by an 
expert, as Honiton. At the auction they went for £10 or £15. I'm sure 
that, like me, many cringed at this.   If an expert does not know they 
should say so.    I don't expect it was a lacemaker who bought them if 
she was, good luck to her.
