After searching I was finally able to find a local Lace Society and placed a
call to the president to inquire about classes on various techniques, meetings,
membership, etc.
I queried about her/others belonging to Arachne and she was amused by my
pronunciation of it. I assume the two "a" are pronounced the same as those in
the word "arachnid" (which is provided via online dictionary to substantiate my
pronunciation)...
Can someone please clarify for me?
If wrong I would like to be corrected, and if correct, then I am a bit nervous
about showing up and perpetually being ridiculed.
Better off to find some good books on various lace techniques perhaps?
