I agree - I can't find the ticket right now, but I think there was a discussion on the Trac about being able to use ^ to refer to a particular post - for example http://identi.ca/notice/6881807 = "@fabsh <http://identi.ca/user/418> my patched version of scrobbledroid is buggy as hell and crashes a lot :(" This is in context to http://identi.ca/notice/6876134, so I *could* have sent instead "^6876134 my patched version of scrobbledroid is buggy as hell and crashes a lot :(" His response could be ^6881807 blah blah, which then ensures that message is included in the context. The laconica code could dynamically re-write this to show "@fabsh" instead of the message ID (as we know who sent the message I'm replying to). What do people think of this? Rgds, Jon "The Nice Guy"
