Quick follow-up - NWAM does indeed work, but the network connection is *incredibly* slow - hangs for many seconds, a few more packets come in, hangs again, etc... Something appears to be off with either this particular driver/chipset combo, or something else is getting in the way.
I've ruled out the wireless base station, as I can boot the same laptop with Fedora 10, and the wireless works fine there. How can I examine what NDIS/the driver is doing more closely, so I can report more useful findings? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
