Personally I like that "metaphora"  lot - I have used it in a few of my own projects.  It would be good to have docking on the components, I think that has been recognised and some work is being done ?

(FWIW, in delphi (4), my preference is the editor on its own, and all other tools docked in "tabbed notebook" style)
It must be simple to add a component, or to write a dll, it MUST provide a simple Wizard
I am not sure how adding a component could be much simpler ?  Or do you mean creating a new one ?

I normally hate wizards.  To make a useful wizard, the wizard writer needs a pretty good idea of what the wizard user wants to do.  How can this be the case in program design ?  Still, I suppose for teaching and "hello world" programs it could be helpful.  Perhaps you could make a start by writing some wizards for the existing IDE ?

If you really have some good ideas on improving the layout, perhaps you could describe them in more detail ?

cheers,
John Sunderland
