I think glibc 2.1.x or 2.2.x on a floppy with a 2.4 kernel should be the
target, until we find some practical reason why this just can't be done...
With the numbers I've seen for 2.4 kernel and glibc (especially once glibc
gets stripped of debug info) seem to indicate there's no reason we can't
make this work, maybe even on a 1.4Meg floppy (although I'd be happy with a
1.68 meg image).
