I don't quite understand it myself. I was downloading some MP3's and within an hour of using it I find that I had people downloading those same MP3's from me. I thought you needed to open ports and point the forwarding rules to your desktop. So I am not sure how it was able to allow other users to download from you.
You *can* turn off sharing files to other users within Morpheus, but I don't think that will totally block the holes in it. ----- Original Message ----- From: Steve Jeppesen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; leaf-user <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, February 24, 2002 9:04 PM Subject: Re: [Leaf-user] Morpheus? if you find a way to "safely" use it let me know. Both of my daughters use it and I am a bit worried after reading what can happen, ie; ppl have the ability to connect to your hard drive and go from there. Other than that, they both can connect to it ok, and I am using Dachstein CD v1.0.2 On Sun, 24 Feb 2002 21:51:51 -0500 "Christopher Holmes" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Anyone know if it's possible to set up a firewall (Dachstein) to safely use > Morpheus?
