I have had similar problems, but for me I found that it seemed to be more of
a (believe it or not) issue with the kind/brand diskette I use, I guess all
floppies are NOT created equal :)   Have u tried a different brand? A
different brand that's brand new?  What syntax are you using to format the
diskettes?
