And, seriously, if you want to enhance or otherwise contribute to the project, or even just monitor the list to help other users avoid getting into the jams you got into (or help them get out in time for their conferences ;-)), I think I speak for most of the folks on the list when I say, go to it! Open source projects are invariably best supported by their users, especially the ones who have been through the more "rough" paths.
