As Richard said, use 'tinydns' which is an authoritive nameserver 
(unlike dnscache). tinydns and dnscache work wonderfully together.
Search the mailing-list archives under "tinydns dnscache" for previous
descriptions of exactly how to set both up together (they must use
different ip addresses. ie.... 192.168.0.1 + 127.0.0.1).
