Not everything that CAN be done, SHOULD > be done. ;-) I guess I know what you're saying - but just to keep things straight for the archives - LEAF runs just fine on VMWare, and it's a great way to set things up before deploying an image to the "real thing" (like the firewall). I wouldn't run my firewall on a vmware box either - but for testing or setup purposes, it works extremely well.
