In Accrual accounting (not cash which in Canada is only to be used by
farmers) you need to do the two transactions already. Its really two
different things (that is if I understand accounting principles correctly -
- - please correct me if I'm out to lunch) one is the invoicing and the
second is the getting paid.

Probably clear as mud - - - ask questions if it is!
