I agree with all you say. I just wonder whether grayson is the issue? Maybe a better manager/coach will be able to get more out of the squad we have and also engender a more positive feeling among the players.

I know its easy for me sitting here in sunny Azania (38 degrees C, no wind, going to jump in the pool after this), but would it not be better to try and organize a boycott of one or two games? Could it be done? That would soon show bates that the fans mean business, as it would hit him in the pocket. It would mean a complete empty stadium, which would take a lot of cajoling, but would imho, be worth it if it gets Bates out. I am not convinced that he is the sole problem, but I do think that while he is there, we will struggle to progress.

To pre-empt the posts saying we should support the team, and that a boycott will affect them - fuck them. Most of them would leave for more money, higher league, etc in a flash. Maybe it time for a revolution.

I feel for you guys that pay to go watch the team every week. I don't know what I would do if I was in your shoes.
