Ah, some financial sense on the List, a rare treat.

After a poor start, SG has actually been making this mid-table squad
overperform. We have been close or in the playoff places for most of the
season, and thus we HAVE been "overperforming" compared to our financial
position.

SG is NOT the problem. The Leech who is extracting cash from the club (in
my judgement) is the problem. It is otherwise known as asset stripping.

Bates has an interesting business model. It is clear to me his goal is to
maximise his revenue over the long term (from player sales) whilst risking
next to none of his own cash (which would be required if he had desires on
a Premier League place).

Roll on the funeral. Can't be too far away. What is he now? 82? Doesn't
have a Korean son does he?
