OK, so it was Odvar Odvarson who was whale-meat man. Halvard I believe went off 
to form the Maritime and Underwater fishing initiative didn't he? Oystein I can 
remember, although wasn't there a second Oystein?
 
I still want to know who Hakan is/was - he may have been Icelandic I think, and 
I always assumed that the link between him and his Japanese wife was 
fishing/whaling? This is starting to bug me. If you've seen Good Morning 
Vietnam, the guy I'm thinking off looked like the twin radio censors in that, 
although whiter and more ginner!

I second that, it was definitely Odvar, didn't he work for a biggie TV company. 
I took some of the whale meat home, when it was slowly braised it tasted ok.
