I remember the tokens but back when I were a lad tickets were distributed on
whether or not you were a member of Tinshill & Cookridge Working Mens Club
where Don Toulson, who ran the ticket office in them days, was on't committee.
That's how my dad got his ticket for the European Cup final in Paris (didn't
get one for me, the bastard, just 'cos I had an exam!)

Sorry to come out of retirement but  :-  when i were a lad ( or at least when I
lived in Leeds) Tickets for games like this were distributed on the basis of
tokens  printed in the programme. so you had to present 12 tokens or token
number 5 to get a ticket. in my opinion it worked well.
Now if anyones got a spare including air fare from Fremantle please let me
know.
