In this kind of scenario, the world was better before social media.

I don’t ‘know’ much about this situation, beyond the facts of the results and
league table (in that, I am counting the results / achievements of the last 4
years) plus what I see with my own eyes at games.

I ‘believe’ that Bielsa truly ‘gets’ Leeds and he loves it. He has taken a
bunch of mainly, journeymen players, forged a team to get promoted and played
with a style and energy that caught a lot of the Premier teams on the hop last
season. The promotion alone has been something that has been beyond all the
other managers who have tried. Of course the better, richer teams are coming up
with ways to counter us - that is how football works - it helps them that they
have lots of money to throw at it, more than us at any rate.

I do think there is a problem with some of these players seem to have ‘peaked’;
I can see that there is a long injury list, sadly these being mostly our better
players - this will be having an impact; and I can also see that some of the
younger players, when drafted in to the first team, need time to settle and get
acclimatised - do we give them that, as fans?

It was never going to be as ‘easy’ this year as last, let’s be realistic.

Barring a disastrous run of results, this board are not going to sack him - he
may ‘leave by mutual consent’ - but who would replace him - any name you give
(except Steve Bruce) is likely either untried, or too expensive (SB is just
shit).

These players trust Bielsa way more than is usual in football.

I come back to trusting in Bielsa to find solutions, motivate players, draft in
the right youngsters when they are ready, and most of all, to get us to safety.
