Would have to check when i get home - but i would think that they are still there as it would take a long time for the PC to delete that many files - and surely i'd have noticed. Still incredibly annoying because even if i find them there and restore them i'm still going to lose all the ratings and playlists - along with all the history of how often each song has been played (which being an anal Accountant type i really like). Was just praying someone would say that ITunes automatically back itself up and if you find file Itunes*&*.x*kf then i can recover everything. It does look like ITunes has been reinstalled from scratch but again surely the time that takes i'd have noticed Matt

In ITunes look under Edit/Preferences/Advanced. If the files are on your disk then you will be able to get them back into ITunes. Before you do anything else back them up. If not then you will have a tougher job.
