At first I thought this was intended to be an insult, but since Mark continued arguing - long after I'd ceased to see the value of debating with a moral bankrupt - I realise that it was actually a question. I realise now that Mark was checking to see if there were more people in the world than just him who found themselves arguing with the bloke in the mirror. Now I can't speak for anyone but myself but I think you're in the minority Mark and if you intend on honing ones debating skills perhaps you ought to practice on people not called Mark a bit more. > > I'm staggered that, given the parade of shady characters that > have passed > through the LUFC boardroom over the past few years that you > think we should set > this high moral tone and worry more about poor Boo and his > disco than the > future of the club. Why? Is football SO important? It's a game not life and death, there are more important things in life than Leeds United or football which you acknowledge by NOT going to every game. > > BTW, Boo has my sympathy even though it doesn't look that way Eh? And so?......you get the chairman and thus the club you deserve - your morals are reflected in the club you have helped create - enjoy it. I take it you'll be buying a season ticket for next season. > > Your reply offers no alternatives, just more anti-Bates rhetoric. You've got what you wanted, Bates is in charge - at least until Christmas - he's so 'in it for the long term' that he would only accept an embarrassment clause of 6 months. Strange that, isn't it? _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
