5 million...no chance....!
He does NOT have a proven track record of scoring at the top level. A decent
spell internationally for a nation that doesn't draw from the largest pool
of talent does NOT make him one of the top strikers in Europe.
My case will be supported by those that come shopping for him. I firmly
believe that Barcelona, Real Madrid, AC Milan, Manu, Arsenal, Liverpool,
Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Werder Bremen, Lyon, Juventus, Inter Milan, etc WILL
not be licking their chops at being able to purchase the services of Mr.
Healy. I mean if any of these clubs thought they could buy one of the top
International strikers in Europe for 5 million they'd be in for him in
queues.
If anyone believes Mr. Healy is one of the top strikers in Europe then
clearly they don't know what they are talking about. So go on...tell me
where he's going!
And remember we aren't exactly a strong seller...bankrupt...3rd
division...yep...I'm sure it's all Mr. Bates faultm when he goes for around
1.5 million.

As for the rest, we'll see just what price we get, in comparison to other
market activity on international strikers...
I agree. Healy is a proven goal scorer at international level. I believe
he's the highest scorer in the European Championship at the moment. In
other
words, he's one of the top strikers in Europe. If we don't get at least
five
million for him (bearing in mind that for two untried teenagers we got
four
million) I think we can conclude that Bates has allowed the club to be
ripped off.
